E’stato bello aspettare il film, ad ogni news mi gasavo per come stava venendo su il film, ad ogni trailer rimanevo sbigottito per la qualità che ci mostravate !!!
Mi viene un po di nostalgia a pensare vidi il Prologue, che per scaricarlo da Emule ci misi un eternità XD, dopo averlo visto incominciai ad aspettare il seguito del film !!!

You morons. Have you not learned anything from every single countdown site ever? Of course the site went down, what did you think would happen? Konami’s own servers went down every time they did an MGS trailer. And you weren’t prepared?
You couldn’t have uploaded it to megaupload, mediafire in 1 gig pieces? You couldn’t have streamed it as vimeo, dailymotion or youtube? You honestly didn’t plan anything for actual movie’s release? Oh yes, a torrent, that’ll solve everything because it just requires you to leave your computer on and everyone can access it……… after 20 days downloading.

I just watched Metal Gear Solid Philanthropy and I have to say it is outstanding. I think everything is great about the movie. I really hope you will make the two sequels. I would love to see what happens next and how it ends. You guys did an excellent job and I’m hoping to hear soon if the next part is in the works. Thanks for everything.

First of all the acting is lousy it could have been done better and some movements were better off not being done at all. (- No Offense)
Secondly I think snake should wear a tighter suit seems kinda loose to look at it in my opinion plus some more sharpness or more militaristic movements or turns.
Overall I could say you guys have done a great job! I hope you can improve more in the next part and I’ll be waiting for your next release..

Hello, I just finished watching Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy. I am a very big fan of the Metal Gear Solid video games. I own them all and play through them many times. This movie you have made is incredible. I think only true Metal Gear Solid fans can appreciate what you have done here. I just can’t believe fans made this. It’s perfect! Don’t try change anything or make an excuse why one thing was the way it was.
You should be very proud of this film. In fact, I feel proud. This is a fan made film! Made for fans! I am proud to be a Metal Gear Solid fan.
I think Hollywood would have a very difficult time matching this. Even with all their Hollywood money and resources. I want to watch this over and over again. Hollywood can’t understand it like a real fan.
Solid Snake was perfect. The voice actor was excellent. The plot is just like it came from one of the games. I love the focus on the characters and the horror of war. I really felt sad when Pierre and Snake had to listen to the injured soldier screaming from the grenade. And I just need to know more about Elizabeth Laeken. Who or what is she??? And Snake vs the Gekko thing….EPIC! Oh, and I love the music. It has very emotional music, just like in the games. The end credits music sounds very nice to me.
It’s so good. I can’t wait for part 2.

Just wanted to congratulate you folks on the completion of an excellent and noble project. I hadn’t heard of the film until I came across mention of it on Kotaku today and it pleasantly exceeded my expectations and left me impressed and entertained. Thank you for your dedication and deft handling of both source and original material.

Just finished watching the film, and wow! Given that it was made by enthusiasts with big dreams, I’m blown away. I’m a huge MGS fan and a film school dropout, and I know how monumental this undertaking was. Everyone involved should be so proud of this, cherish it as a great success. I hope that we do see the end of this all! It would be a shame to not complete the story. When so many fan projects die before completion or are so poorly made they’re unwatchable, you’ve managed to craft a compelling story and stay faithful to the source. Just awesome! I wish you all the best and a successful career, I’ll be keeping my eyes open for your next piece!

MGS Philanthropy is such a awesome project, I love the atmsphere that surrounds the whole movie, your guys are loyal standing Solid Snake’s characteristics, it was perfect!!!
And hell yeah!!! I wanna see what make those guys became “freaky” with those white eyes; And holy shit!!! What’s wrong with Elizabeth and those black eyes??? hehehe I realized that the plot of the movie have so much more beyond the Metal Gears and the simple objective to destroy them all(And was that factor that I like it at the most in the movie ;D) And I’m looking forward to see the two sequels pretty soon ;D I hope so…
But guys, I have such a idea that you almost die to finish this chapter of your lives. All that I wanna say is (like you said) looking for financial partners and some support team to put in the shreds a project that don’t bring Hive Division to exhaustion; For the possibly next project’s production finishes without taking so much of you guys!!! unzip the first part (*.zip), you find a *.rar inside it. Unzip this rar and automatically the film will be extract, but make this on the same folder
Fantastico! è da 2 anni che vi seguo e che aspetto l’uscita del film! E devo veramente dire che l’attesa ne è valsa la pena. Il film è veramente nello stile “metal gear”; da notare le varie citazioni ai giochi che avete ripreso in maniera non invasiva; solo un vero fan riesce a godere di queste super-chicche! Complimenti anche per il personaggio di Pierre che è stato completamente inventato da voi e che mi sembra caratterizzato (in tutti i sensi) benissimo; mi è piaciuto molto. Complimenti anche per la recitazione del figlio del senatore nella scena sull’aereo e nelle sequenze codec, davvero molto espressivo!

Just came by to say you did an amazing job, guys! This is definitely the best and the biggest fan-project I’ve ever seen. It’s easy to notice how much work were put in this movie. Great soundtrack, graphics, direction and story. Sure one can find little things to criticize you for, but come on, show me better examples of fan movies? There is none. You guys made a tremendous work and I really enjoyed it, thank you very much! And I really hope to see Part II someday, just don’t make us wait for too long!

Congratulations to all you mates at Hive Division
I’ve been looking forward to this movie in quite some time now, and when I finally watched it I was pleasantly surprised 
You did an outstanding job! The one thing alone that made me like the movie was the fact that you somehow really managed to capture the true essence of the MGS storytelling! The way that events are presented, the style of the dialogue between Snake and his commanding officer, the setting and unusual characters all make up for the feeling that you’re watching a real MGS story wit all its twisted charm. One more this is the incredible performance by Giacomo Talamini – that man has the closest voice to David Hayter’s I’ve ever heard, and the voice is a substantial part of the character of Snake 
The jokes were pretty funny and well placed for the most part, and the overall idea of the movie (the brutality of war, Snake fighting for his believes) was pretty well executed as well. I can say the movie is as good as fan-made low-budget ones can get, this being said in the positive context. Oh… and last but not least, great cinematography and special effects! The project’s lead 3D artist must be quite skilled. I’ve enjoyed the first part, eagerly waiting for the second and hopefully third!

When I try to open the .zip file, it says could not find the rest of the self-extractors.
When I rename all the files to .zip, it has a .mov file inside it, but says it’s corrupt…
Love the movie, Top class, And really good 3D Work, really incorporates well.

Just wow guys. You all should be really proud of this production. You guys have completed a solid original production in a few years while the apparent ‘official’ MGS movie supposedly isn’t out for at least another 2 years, equalling around 5 years? (not too sure how reliable wikipedia is though). So in a way, you guys have set the bar, and have set it pretty high to say the least.
Anyway, the movie was pretty fantastic, everything was done to the mark. The atmospheres/ environments were perfect, the character development was good, the sound was great, basically everything was great. Is there no like online fan-created/ independent movie awards that people can nominate you guys for?
