Ok, you know what? It took only six real meetings to Hive Division Leads to understand what we really want to do. That is: going pro, becoming real partners, associates, husband and wife, Luke, I am your father.
The fact is that from January 2012 Hive Division will be a real independent production company, starting with 6 associates…
So: at the apex of an economic crisis five guys and a girl, without parents or cousins in the industry, startup a company to create sci-fi/fantastic movies and series to be mainly distributed online, in a country that has:
- nearly no sci-fi/fantastic tradition
- the lowest broadband penetration in the EU
- quite possibly the highest “I know people” index in the known universe.
How hard can it be?
What? It won’t be easy, you say?
It doesn’t matter: we KNOW it’s the right thing to do and we will try hard.
I mean, also our cat Cagliostro totally agrees! What can go wrong?!
For the event, our “courtroom sketch artist” Lamberto pictured this:
Hive Division proudly presents “In Memoria” concept trailer, one of the pilots of Hive Division independent and low budget projects.
This video, auto-funded and auto-produced, represents the overall mood and quality that we would dream for this movie.
To achieve this, we are looking for prospective sponsors or producers interested in funding the whole project and cooperating in the production process.
If you are interested in funding or contributing, please write us or… donate!
If you want to find out more about the project, visit the Official Website!
Here’s the first video of the mascot of Bruel Volley, a newborn volleyball team from Bassano del Grappa.
Of friends at Manifactory, specialised in character design and art direction, asked Hive Division to take care of 3D modeling, rigging, animation and rendering for this very nice project.
We want to thank our friends Marco Giordano, Giorgio Rodriguez and Glenn X Govan for their precious contribution!
This is only the first joint venture between Hive Division and Manifactory: we have great plans together (), both for commercials and, above all, for our creative projects…
Stay tuned, since next week we are going to announce the first original production of Hive Division.
What’s happening in Hive Division? What are we working on?
Even if it is early to disclose the whole thing, we can tell you that we are working on a visual/demo for a project about the Italian front in World War I (yes, I and not II).
We’ve completed the pre-production and the first phase of shooting.
